REMIX!
That's right fools. I remixed this site. Okay, I basically added a new template, and a few other plugins, but hey...REMIX!
I really want to spend an hour bitching about how crappy the Lost finale was last night. I want to make a list of all of the stuff that has disappointed me about this show, but I do have to go home sometime tonight. Let's talk about the other stuff.
First, if you didn't know, I totally bit it last Saturday on my scoot. I was heading home Friday, and my rear brake handle snapped and stopped working. Fortunately, I called the bad asses at Motoworks Chicago, and they had the parts and were able to squeeze me in immediately. That rocks. Those irresponsible folk at Scooterworks had my order for over a month, and never EVER called me. I left messages and other stuff, and nothing. I wish Motoworks was closer. They are south SIDE! *Throws up sign*.
Anyway, I'm heading out Sat AM, and hit a patch of gravel in my stupid alley (that could be part of the set of The Wire). BAMM. I'm on my side, sliding down about 5 feet. My chin gets all bloody, and my elbows and knees get scraped up. Stupid gravel. I had to go, so I just get back on the bike and head south. It's about a 10 mile scoot, and I'm bleedin all over the place. A homeless dude beggin for change was like "DAMN! You got fucked up!" Yes. I did. Omar comin'. I show up at Motoworks and get cleaned up. Those guys did a real good job with my scoot. I'm going to them all the time, even though Scooterworks is closer. You can tell how professional they are, because I was talking all sorts of shit on Scooterworks, and the service manager responded "Yeah, we have heard complaints about them. They are extremely understaffed and things can get lost sometimes." Man. He was even being nice about the competition. What a nice dude.
My bike is back at Motoworks for the yearly maintenance. Got to keep it right so I can scoot for a long time.
Over the weekend, Zach came up to visit. We (of course) hit Fogo de Chao. We did a Beatbox show at the Evanston Improv Festival. That fest was a high school project for DJ Fish, one of the Underage Sugar Addicts. I wish I had a cool school project when I was in high school. Fun times.
Zach and I also did a CSz show, but the fun part of Saturday was playing BSG. I really like that game. I think I'm going to break out the expansion. Most of the regulars have played a few times, so I can add some rules. We also played Telestrations on Thursday. Telestrations is an awesome party game. So fun.
Finished the weekend with MadSkillz and the Show Who Must Not Be Watched.
