Come on Motoworks
It figures that after I raved all about Motoworks, things aren't going well for the Scoot. Apparently, Piaggio sent them the wrong part for my bike, and they had to overnight another one. What does this mean? It means that I won't have the Scoot until tomorrow at the earliest. It has been supes nice out, and I have been taking the train. Weak sauce. The Motoworks folks seem to be as upset as I am, which makes me think they really care about the customers. They will remain the Scoot's preferred hospital.
Other thoughts about the Scoot:
- I shall continue to call it the Scoot instead of Scoot or any other names. If it works for professional athletes, it will work for the Scoot.
- I thought about looking for a crew of scooter people to ride the Scoot with, but decided that I don't have enough time. Plus, since I have an LX 50 (the lowest model), I'd be left in the dirt.
- However, John Cusack rides a scoot, so I'd party with him. It could be hard riding the Scoot while holding a boombox above my head.
