Hi Friends.

I had to travel to Memphis TN over the weekend because my uncle passed away. Yes. Supes shitty. He was 61 and fell over outside by his garden. To be honest, I'm not what you would call close to any of my relatives (outside immediate family). I haven't seen the Memphis folk in years, and the only other relatives are in Milwaukee and Minneapolis (or Europe). We are all friends for sure, but I just don't see them a lot. Don't fret, they are coming to the wedding.

Anyway, it was great seeing people. I haven't seen a few aunts in what seems like a decade. I'm also glad everyone got to meet Dr Girlfriend before the wedding. I got to spend some time with my uncle Milton, who I didn't really know at all. That was very nice.

Of course, the 10 hour drive each way sucked monkey balls. Plus, I pinched a nerve or something in my back and am still feeling the pain. The only thing that was good about the trip, besides seeing family, was the short time spent at Chick-Fil-A. YUM!

I did end up missing Dual Duel. I heard from Alan that the shows totally rocked. I wish I could have been there. At least there are 11 weeks left of the show. 

I finally completed the Beatbox flyer for our run at iO. Peep it!

Other random thoughts:

• 53 days until the wedding.
• I am only doing 1 show this week at CSz. Relax!
• I had lunch with P6 folks, and I'm really glad to be at DRW.
• It has been "raining" for the last few days, which blocked me from taking the Scoot to work.
• I have added a Find Me section to the blog.
• On Thursday, I ordered my wedding band! Dun dun dunnn.
• I want to play BSG.
